Power Steering Problem
I just did a power steering flush because the fluid was pretty low and I wanted to start fresh. I followed the instructions listed here on our 1998 V70 and when I started it back up it is making a grinding noise and has bubbles in the resivior.
Should I just run the car to work out any bubbles in the system or should I try something else.
Thanks
David

Same procedure I used successfully. The key was to not allow the reservoir to get dry and introduce air. If you followed this and still got air in the system I'm at a loss to explain unless there might be something wrong. The article did state if you did get air, you would need to run the engine to get the air out, and truthfully, I don't know what else you could do.
Good Luck, please post the final results.

Here is what it looked like when I was getting the fluid pumped out, after I had siphoned out the fluid in the reservoir. I believe I had it hooked up right, I only got about a litre out.
