Default Rear Power Socket in Console

My 99 V70's rear electrical socket is detached and in the console. Has anybody ever taken one of these off? it looks like it might just pull off, but I don't want to break any clips or anything. Thanks, and sorry about the quality of the picture, it was taken on my phone.

You may be able to reach them from the ash trey. Take that out and see if you can reach it.

I pulled the ashtray out and didn't see anything, maybe on the upper side which is hard to see, it is a pretty cramped space, so I'll try again.

Oh yea, I remember now. You can lift up from the bottom a little and pull it out from the bottom. The top has tabs on it and if you pull it straight out it will break the top tabs so you'll want to pull the bottom out first and let the top slide down and out.

Just got it. Iit was pretty easy, there was just one large tab at the top, seemed fairly strong, I don't think it would be easy to break. Thanks for the help rspi.

Be careful when pulling on this Volvo plastic. You'll be surprised how things just break apart.
