tock car for mot yesterday and it failed on the rear shocks, model v70 awd turbo 1998,
Orderd them this morning, went to pick them up and they were half the size of the 1s ive taken off . they tell me that there is only 1 part no for them is this write or do i need the bigger chunker 1s that are allready on it . thanks in advance .

yes m8t had a very bad night , the drinks were flowing and i paid for it this morning.

Did you buy them from Volvo?

Did you tell them they were for an AWD car?

I believe they are supposed to be Heavier for the AWD because AWD has indipendant rear suspension.

S70driver I had no problem understanding what he was asking.

 

went to two different suppliers i use for auto bits, both have given me the wrong part . after further investigation have found out that they are sachs shocks. and they were never sold in the uk for this model. have been to local volvo dealership pinnings and they say i will have to take chasis nos ect to them to find correct part and am looking at £250 each + vat .
