Shuddering and stalling

Shuddering and stalling
My V70 started misbehaving again yesterday. I had the AC on which is unusual for me and i guess i was driving it a bit hard, it was a bit sluggish so i had to put my foot down to make it move. Then it started shuddering violently at idle.Still idling at about 800RPM but shuddering badly. I had to keep the revs at about 1700RPM to stopit form shuddering and stalling.I had my MAF sensor replaced about 2500kms ago. A month ago i had a code suggesting i needed a new O2sensor heater but i never did anything about it and now the codes gone. I had my codes read and cleared on Friday. I'll have to check again what has come back.

RE: Shuddering and stalling
I was on the way to my mechanic today, turning my car off at each stop light and the message (it had been saying "Engine System Service Required")and symptoms went away about 2 blocks from the mechanic but then i got the message "Brakes system failure. Stop safely ASAP" pulled into the mechanic an turned the car off. When i turned it back on the idle symptoms were back but noEngine message and no Brakes Message.Pulled the codes and came up withP0102 and P0030 MAF Circuit Low Input and HO2Heater Circuit. The live data showed a reading of 0.00 from the MAF so we put another one in and the symptoms were the same but it was reading 5.25. The MAF is still under warranty. if i put my foot to the floor with either MAF in the revs won't go above 4000rpm. All the vaccuum lines look good. The fan seemed to stay on far longer than necessary. My Brake booster has been hissing at me for a long time. Could it be sucking air from the feul delivery system somewhere? one of the fuses under the hood, i don't remeber which number but it was something to do witht he cooling system, doesn't seem to have power to either side of it.

RE: Shuddering and stalling
A leaking booster will set a code if the leak is bad. Engine vaccum goes to the brake booster.
Did all the codes clear out?
The revs not going up seems like there is still codes in the system.
Maybe even throttle body codes. Or also brake codes can stop the revs from going up if your foot is on the brake.

All the codes that my mechanic's scanner could read were cleared but the 0102 and 0030 came back. I have sn SRS message as well which his scannercouldn'tclear. This was just from disconnecting my HU without disconnecting the battery. I think my mechanic's scanner can only read Engine and Transmission codes so there may be brake codes i don't know about. He is taking it to someone else today to see what he can find out.

Also it doesn't hurt check for PCV system clogged with manometer (vacuum gauge) on dipstick. if it is positive pressure or u can actually see blow by coming out of the dipstick when idling. Clean PCV nipple or banjo fitting and retest and see if vehicle stalls... I had a few in which when it's clogged it will set MAF codes in system and stalling concerns. I hope that helps.
