Hi,

I have a 98 V70 and the gas pedal is very sticky. I have to use varying degrees of force when using it. I know that older volvo's are notorious gas guzzlers, but this thing seems to really go through it, and with the price of petrol here in Ireland, it is putting a fair oul dent in the wallet.

Does anyone know if the sticky pedal could be related too high gas consumption?

Also, is this a common problem and is it easy to fix?
