Stray Part 1998 V70R
My 98V70R was loaded with ice and snow. The battery died, probably because the wipers couldn't go to full closed. Anyway, after much effort, I got the hood opened and started cleaning out the ice. On passenger side (right - US model) at the corner of the hood area, near where the cabin filter goes, I found this piece of rubber. I may have knocked it loose trying to get the ice out.
Anybody know what it is and where it is supposed to go?
Pics are here. Measures about 1.5 inches long X 1.25 inches wide. All rubber.
2nd post will have the back side of the part.
Thanks very much.

Turned out to be an anti-rattle thing that sets atop the last bolt of the front fender, near the firewall. It is right under the hood hinge.and about the size of a quater. Part cost 2 bucks I think.
