I'm trying to make sure I have all the parts for when I replace my upper strut mount spring seat and bearing. It seems like there might be another part that I need to replace but i'm not sure. Here is a picture of the top of the strut. It seems like something else is blown out.


I greatly appreciate anyone who can help me figure this out.

 

Looks like someone added something in there instead of replacing the proper part. Looks like a temp fix to stop noise.
