Default Suspension Decision

Getting ready to change the suspension on on my 2003 V70(P2) manuel trans and am having problems with deciding on the following combos:

Billstein HD sports w/ H&R springs, or Koni FSD w/ eibach springs, Koni yellow adj. w/ H&R springs. looking for a ride stiffer than stock ,but dont want the kids heads bouncing around in the back seat. I drive on the agressive side, but wife does not......
Note: already eqipd w/ ipd frt and rear anti sway bars and changing from and 15" to 18" wheel.

Any thoughts?!

Though I don't have an answer to your question, I do have a question for you:

When you replaced the anti-sway bars, did you do them at the same time? I am considering doing only the rear first, and am looking for someone with experience with this to give me an idea of what to expect doing only the rear vs. front and rear together.
Mine is a 2006 V70 2.5T with stock everything.

Thank you

I have some recent experiences that made me question my 16" small side wall tires or my strut spring combination on a 2001 V70 wagon. We had 400# of people and 200# of gear going to Maine for a ski vacation. There were occasional frost heaves in the road that made the front struts bang like a hammer at 30 MPH. The car in front of us was a Honda CRV that was loaded up too with no issues at all.
I had to slow down to 20mph ...wow... was that road long after that!
I had plenty of time to remember variable suspensions that could take an air charge and recall big station wagons loaded up inside and on top, listing backward in the driveway and return to normal curb height for a long trip by putting pressure into the shocks.
I guess my advice is to give yourself the ability to adjust if it is affordable to keep you and your wife happy and avoid a long trip like I had.
I recently saw a strut tower with a treaded adjustable lower spring cup (sort of like the adjusters for front forks on motorcycles) and thought this may be a good upgrade in my future.
