Default Torque Bar Bushing.

The big rubber bush at the end of the torque bar is shot. I am going to replace it with a ureathane type hard bushing. Am I supposed to press out the remains of the old bushing, the metal ring, or does the new bushing just go into the remaining part?
Thanks Much.

The Metal stays and the Plastic and rubber go.

Question about the metal. There is definitely something pressed in pretty tight into the black metal piece that serves as the main bracket. The bushing I bought came from one of those generic parts places, alleurasianautoparts.com I thnk. They had three types, a yellow urethane, a black, and something that looked like it might have been the OEM type part. I bought the black urethane one. PN 9434288U then it says MTC. Maybe the manufacturer of the thing. Size wise it exactly matches what appear to be a steel ring pressed into the previously mention black metal piece. Do I have to get that other piece of metal out opf there before I use this bushing or did I get the wrong part? The part also has a small arrow on it. Meant to point to the front of the car??? No instructions came with the part.
Thanks for any help.

The OEM bushing is rubber in a plastic peice. The plastic and rubber has to come out. All of the metal stays.
On the OEM bushing the Arrow goes up.

I believe the yellow coloured bushing is the urethane one............I'll bet you don't have what you ordered. Most always urethane bushings are coloured red, blue, yellow. The aftermarket urethane part does not have the 'arrow' on it as it makes no difference how it is mounted. Look at IPD's urethane bushing and their instruction on their web site.
