I just recently stumbled apon a turn signal switch with the trip computer options built-in at the local pull a part yard today and everything on the switch works fine on my 01 V70 except the trip computer options.

I've read thru a few thread and from what I can see is that the option just needs to be programed by the dealership but i've been told by one dealer that switch shouldn't work at all, and two others quoted me $250 for just the software and $100 labor.

Anyone ever swapped out their stock turn signal switch for one with the trip computer. If so how much did it cost to get programed?
