Default Tune-up options?

Hey everyone,

I am thinking of doing a tune-up, with plugs, cap, rotor, cables, and anything else that's needed.
However, I have been reading contradicting opinions about which plugs to use. FC Grotons has the original OEM plugs included in their kit, but then I read that iridium plugs are better, specially for fuel economy. Is there a definitive opinion on this matter?
I thank everyone for their time and input.

robert.

EDIT: I forgot to tell you which car I have . I have a 1998 V70GLT.

So you mean that you use Volvo brand plugs, or Bosch? Thanks for the answer.

i just bought the tune up kit. it was awsome, did its job very well. I like to think that the factory has a good idea of what their car uses and why, so i went factory volvo plugs.

On the turbo cars the OEM plugs are Bosch platinums.
But I would stick with OEM as much as you can.
The cap rotor and wires usually last 10 years easy.
