turn signals not blinking
Hi all,
The turn signals on our '98 V70 are not working properly. They simply stay "on" and don't blink, and the hazard lights do not work either. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine, and none of the bulbs are burnt out either.
Where is the device that controls the blinking? Is it easy to replace? And what does what of these things cost?
Dan

RE: turn signals not blinking
hi dan. itseems as if you need a new flasher relay or maybe the old one is just loose. i live in northern ireland but i have lookedup a fewU.S sites and they are charging around 35 dollars for a new relay. perhaps another member can pinpoint its location as i am not sure were it is on U S spec cars. howeverit should bevery easy to get to and replace,

its all in the hazard light button just push the button so it comes out and using a terminal slot screwdriver (the dealership gave me a special tool that looks like thin flat bone) and like everything else electrical gently pry it out and disconnect the harness. cost me 85 dollars ( canadian) so probably like 10 dollars for you
