Upper torque engine mount replacement with press. Volvo 850, S70, V70 with Video
Never had much success replacing the upper torque engine mount (OEM style) on the Volvo 850, S70, V70, 1993 - 1998 without a press. So I had a machine shop make a press for me. If you'd like to have one let me know.

If you're only doing the one on your car it would be easier to just put a poly one in there, no press needed.

Kiss4afrog: not true for all poly bushes. I bought one of the purple bushes, and it took forever to press into place. It was also wider than the OEM part, so you could not drop the bracket down on to it because the bushing was wider than the lower opening of the bracket. Some people file the opening wider. I disconnected my bracket from the firewall instead so I could span the bushing with the bracket and then reconnect at the firewall. All a PIA.
If I would do this again, I would certainly return to OEM rubber.

It was Powerflex.
Powerflex - Performance Polyurethane Bushes
I'm not sure if this brand is available Stateside.

Well that's a pain. Mine was from IPD and part of the sales pitch if I remember correctly is that it goes together without having to press it. After trying to push my stock mount back in the hole with a "C" clamp a time or two that was looking good to me and it did just drop in nicely.
It's good to have it tight, up to a point.
