My recently purchsed '03 V70 2.4T seems to be running quite nicely - turns in 30+ mpg on the highway (70-80 mph, A/C on). It is the second Volvo wagon that I have owned. The first was a 1976 265 (245 + RPV V-6 and a few different trim items) The V70 is far more capable car but my (25 years in the past) impression is that the 245/265 interior was slightly larger. This may only reflect that fact that it was clearly taller. Anyone have the numbers?
