Default V70 Catalytic converter

This is probably an old chestnut but I need the info!

Need to replace the catalytic converter in my 1998 V70 20v (RHD model non turbo).

Need to know:

(a) Is it OK to use an aftermarket converter in Australia? (I can get a 3 inch one much cheaper than the Volvo part)

(b) Does any one have a "how to" or diagram of the exhaust system to guide me through fitting the replacement?

All help/suggestions etc. appreciated.

Nucky

I would suggest getting one made for Volvo. Maybe one from a salvage yard. You have to get them quick.
