I purchased a used in good shape V70 about 6 months ago and about a month after driving it I'd get this sudden stop motion in the middle of driving down the road like something was blocking the fuel line for a few seconds then pick up speed again like nothing happened. Almost feels like it's getting clogged up then looseness back up.Took it to the mechanic and he changed out the fuel filter, coils, tune up and it drove fine again for a couple of days then back to it cutting out again. The car starts fine and died once in traffic. Thought maybe filter in gas tank? Something else? Mechanic said he checked fuel pump and it seems fine? Any advice would be much appreciated! P.S. If it seems like the filter in tank is a problem and you know a good video on how to change it out please share. I cannot find one.
