Default V70 R awd rod bearings

Got a hold of a cheap 2000 R AWD with a beginning rod knock and I am having some thoughts about may be attempting a Main Bearing swap... Is it doable from the bottom, removing the oil pan? Any suggestions, tips, degree of difficulty? I am normally into RWD so know little about the "White Blocks"...

you are proabably going to have to pull the motor out. If a bearing is going, you can bet the crank journal will need to be ground or the crank replaced if it is bad enough.
