Default V70 Sport Seats

As a new forum member who recently bought a 2004 V70 with Sport, half leather seats, I would like to hear from anyone who has the same seats as I am experiencing upper back pain ; I'm really surprised as I understood this model would have some of the very best seat comfort of any car. Maybe its my sensitive back, but I can sense that the shoulder boulsters are just slightly too narrow for my shoulders and cause me back ache. I've tried most adjustments to lumbar support and recline etc but I cannot seem to avoid the problem. Anyone had similar experience with these Sport seats in half-leather ? Grateful for views.

I have a 99 v70 T5 half leather half suede, the shoulder boulsters seem to fit me quite well but i have a pretty small frame, i must admit the electronic seat controls on my car were a little anoying at first, they have probably changed quite a bit in the 2004 model. Perhaps try more lower back support? [&:] had a quick look now but i cant seem to find a good picture of the 2004 v70 interior...

Thanks for the advice. Its quite confusing at the moment as I sometimes find the seat is very comfortable and supportive, yet at other times I get an ache. I have now decided that I am least affected when the lumbar support is fully extended - it seems to keep my shouler blades just far enough away from the side bolsters to make it a light contact. I'm beginning to believe it maybe my sensitive back, but my wife agrees that the seats have unusually hard cushion profiles but finds them very supportive - orthapaedically speaking! Nevertheless, I love the car to bits and would find it very hard to part with it now.

One other thing to try is I have seen pillows that go around the headrests. It will help support your neck and maybe your shoulders as well.

Thanks Tech - I may have to in due course. On the other hand perhaps I should have gone for the SE with classic seats , all soft and shapeless...rather than the sport trim.
I'm now starting to feel like an old codger who needs medical support equipment ! Ho humm..

I am only 31 and had a bad accident when I was young and cracked 4 vertibrae in my neck and it is very hard to find something comfortable to sit it.
I get headaches and neckaches all the time.

So I know how you feel.
