Default V70 Sump removal

Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help. I need to remove the oil sump on my 1998 V70 with the 2.5 TDI Engine ( D5252T).
As far as I can see all the allen bolts have been removed and the sump is loose, but it won't come down. It seems to be stuck on the gearbox end.
Is there something in there holding it in place, or is it a question of using force and leverage ? I don't want to break anything !!
Appreciate any help, and look forward to a reply.
Thanks,

Joe
