Im curious whether or not the 5 cylinders normally have loud valve sounds? Normally when I hear values making louder than normal noise I would suspect dirty valves or worst.

The car runs great gets 30+mpg and no problems. So im guessing for these engine this is a normal operating noise?

Are you sure it is the lifters and not the injectors?

If it is hte lifters the oil pan o-rings might be bad.
