A/C recharging and miracle cures

Anyone familiar with the a/n website and their products? Was reading a bit about their Mobile tune-up kit and am thinking about taking the plunge.

If the above design did not satisfy you, there are some options for personalised air conditioning systems at:

Just kidding[8D].
Sorry, didn't mean to be rude but I just had this strange inspiration, must be the water in Japan[8D].
No, I have not tried the the a/n website or alternative refrigerant. But someone else may have tried it.

JPN, a sense of humour I can appreciate.
Maxbaby, seems no-one on this site has tried it. Check out this one: http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/cha...ic.php?p=15669

On my 1996 850 R, I too had an evaporator with a slight leak and I am faced with the decision to either replace the evaporator and recharge with 134a or try the tuneup kit from Duracool. Since this original post have yourself oranyone elsetried the Duracool? If so, what were your experiences ? Was it difficult to install ?
Thanks in advance,
Guy

RE: A/C recharging and miracle cures
Just today I had my system evac'd and the duracool tuneup kit installed. I guess time will tell how long it lasts but right now, wow! Very good. I will update in a month or so. Just to reiterate, it's very important to have your system evacuated if you go the duracool route (or any of these other types of refrigerants other than the original R134). According to my refridgeration guy, no matter what they say, they don't mix completely, which can cause issues... kinda like adding a couple of quarts of synthetic motor oil to a Dyno oil engine. And evac'ing the system cleanses it of as much air that may have leaked into the system as possible, and air leads to corrosion internally...
