Default Volvo V70 -01 Block heater blowing fuse?

Hi. Im new to this forum. I just would like to ask about the block heater. I noticed that something in my car blows the fuse of the heater post everytime i plug the car to it with the cable. I checked the cable and its ok and tried with another heater post and that didnt help either, so everything points to the car and since its only going to the block heater then it must be the problem right? If anyone is able to help me it'll be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Some car specs:

When you say "heater post" are you talking about the heater blower circuit?

I'll presume we're talking about a 120 volt heater. If you're plugging into a GFCI outlet you could have a simple ground fault; moisture making a ground path to the plug. This would trip the breaker in the outlet.
