I think #4 fuse in this car is snake bit. Ever since I cleaned the fuse block last November certain fuses have been giving me problems. The ceramic fuses are ALWAYS an issue in every car they're in, plus the kids want more and more electronics.

So I see there are genetic AGC and ATO fuse blocks that I think could retrofit into the wiring harness pretty easy (I'm an electronics technician by trade) but my mechanic goes postal calling it Frankensteining the car! and you never want to **** off your Volvo tech.

On the other hand he keeps telling me he can fix it and two weeks later it craps out again.

Is there a proven aftermarket alternative?
