my wife filled her car with super unleaded and a container of dry gas earlier today.
the started running very rough and would not go over 25-30mpg.
she drove about 1 mile to our normal service center.
i meet her there to pick her up

i started the car and it seemed to run fine.
the mechanic said it was probably a little water and to not worry

these are the codes i got outwith my friendsobd2(p2101, p1651, p1610, p2101)

any ideas???

 

I would check the evap valve. They commonly go bad and run bad like that after it is filled up.

The evap valve is mounted in the cooling fan on the drivers side. It has 2 hoses and 1 electrical plug going to it.

I would remove the valve and see if you can blow through it both ways. If so it is bad.

If it only happens once in a while it might be sticking open. You can try cleaning it with carb or brake cleaner and see what happens.
