Default What Is a Position Light???

OK - got the headlight replaced this weekend (husband still grouchy - tore his hand up trying to get in there)

I still have an intermitent error message about POSITION LIGHT FAILURE (atleast it doesn't say Multi Bulb failure anymore)

Funny thing - when I take the car to the carwash (when they do the interior - windows etc) the light will then go out so I am sure there is a loose connection (maybe)

But I can't figure out what light it is..........[&:]all the rear lights work when I step on the brake, as do the signal lights, etc

Default Locating Your Position Lights

I have found that while your side markers and technically "position lights", the most likely cause of your intermitted "BULB FAILURE POSITION LIGHTS" message is a loose bulb under one of your sideview mirrors. You can access these bulbs by pushing the inner-most side of the mirror in as far as it will go and then using a long screwdriver (and flashlight so you can see what you are doing), push the "tang" to release the bulb housing.
