Hi,

New here. I am amused as I am here for my wife's XC40 as I drive a Toyota Tacoma. There are like a billion posts on that forum. Not many here.

Her 5K "Book Maintenance" message came up and I want to reset it. Nothing on youtube works for this vehicle. Looks like most are for the European version as they tell you to rotate the start **** which is just a button here.

Any help would be appreciated other than "go to the dealer".

Okay I figured it out myself.

Here is the procedure:

1. Hold down cruise control minus (-) button. Keep holding down.

2. With foot OFF of the brake push the start button once (still holding the minus down).

3. Start vehicle by putting foot on brake and pushing the start button once.

4. Keep holding the minus button down until the yellow square with “i” in it flashes and the dash displays “Maintenance light Reset”

5. Release minus button

6. Turn vehicle off and then restart it.
