I have a Volvo XC40, 2024. My daughter was trying to turn the child lock off on the back passenger door however moved the lock latch. The latch is now stuck in a locked position and will not shut. It allows us to drive without the door shutting and without any warning lights coming up.

We have looked online at other forums and tried to push the latch towards the car while opening the car door handle but this is unsuccessful.

can anyone help?? We are away from home and have a 4 hour journey to get back!!
