I have 7K miles on my volvo xc40 2023 , since 2 days when I start the car early in the morning the dashboard shows a message saying refill 1 quart of engine oil, after driving for about 25 miles to work and when i check back in the evening I dont see any messages. I spoke to the customer service on volvo car app they suggested to contact the dealership.I was thinking to refill the engine oil myself, now I am concerned as message goes away after driving for few files and parked for few mins.
What should I do, please suggest if you had similar issue and got it fixed.

Is your vehicle being parked overnight on a flat surface or an incline?
If it is on an incline, sloping surface, it could be that the oil is draining away from the oil level sensor and when you park it on a level surface the oil back to normal level and the sensor is covered with oil.
Try parking it on a flat surface overnight and see if it makes a difference.
