Hello. I would like to ask if the key is under warranty? We purchased an XC40 recharge a couple of months ago (around 4 months) and the key just died. The dealer is now asking 500 dollars to replace it. Can we just change the battery instead if it is not under warranty? I'm a bit frustrated that the key died in less than a year.

 

If it's just the battery causing the issue, that's an easy fix. Replacing the battery is usually simple and might save you money.
