I am trying to order an extra key for my 2005 s60. My local dealer has sent away to volvo 3 times now and gotten a new key made. Each time the new key is completely wrong on one side despite them apparently giving the correct key code.

I only have this one key, so I am at a bit of a loss as what to do. Does anyone know of any alternatives for getting replacement keys?

Some Dealers can just cut a key there and program them without sending for one.
Do you have another Dealer local you can try?

 

Thanks, both my local dealers send the key off. So I agreed to let them do that. In the meantime they have given me a loaner (new s60) at no charge. It'll take about a week to get the key made though.

 

The local dealer by me cuts them im not sure why all of them don't.
