Just curious if anyone else here has had to have their rotors replaced early on the XC40? I just had to have my front rotors replaced under warranty at 17,000 miles due to them being warped. Seems as if this may be a trend in other Volvo models as well.

I am RJJ who joined the discussion on the XC40 rotor/disc matter yesterday. Am sending you this private msg as I have sent the link to our discussion to Volvo Canada so as to make them aware there is a problem with the discs they are installing on the XC40. Do not plan to make another Post in the forum you started/opened until I hear from them. Until I hear from them would be interesting to find out the size of the discs (15,16 or 17 inch) on the vehicles of the people who joined our/your discussion. Would you be willing to make a Post posing/asking that question. Mine has 17 inch front discs. Thinking problem might be because of the metal used to manufacture those discs. Another question that comes to mind is why use 17 inch discs on what I consider a light weight vehicle ???
