Default 2013 3.2l CV axle

My first time post here.

Happy Holidays.
Anyone can recommend where to buy both side without getting rapped? I find typical Napa/Autozone selling them in the range of $150 to 200 for one side but likely are not genuine parts. While volvo is charging $500+ for one side. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

what I would suggest is to start with a dealer web store - I typically use tascaparts.com since they are here in New England but there are others. See what they list as OEM part number and their price. They show 36012421 as the axle for a 2WD model at $529 so that's your baseline. if you then do a search on that part number you can find other OEM suppliers including Volvo friendly web stores like FCP and IPD as well as big stores like Rock Auto. Keep in mind that many of the price friendly parts are either rebuilt or after market and won't hold up like a Genuine Volvo part. Some of the rebuilds are actually factory original with new bearings etc but given its a 2013, personally I'd go for the genuine part knowing it will last another 10 years.
