Default 2013 XC 60 Tweaking

Greetings,
I’m new to the Volvo family and forums so forgive me for any lack of etiquette here.

I just bought this 2013 4d 5 cylinder XC 60 w/ 143k in MA USA so no lemon law applies. I’m the 4th owner, the 2nd had it for 4 mths. Immaculate car fax as far as services kept.

After a couple weeks I have a few dash warnings or error messages but no codes.
1. ABS/DSTC SERVICE NEEDED (no codes so I don’t know which sensor or wire to replace if need be)
This light/message switches between Service Needed & Temporarily Off
2. CITY SAFETY SERVICE NEEDED (not tested)
3. CHECK STOP LAMP (tail and brake lights illuminate)

Also, all of a sudden the blend doors are acting up where as I’m getting heat on one side and AC on the floor setting only.
Moreover, the front seat warmers aren’t working either. Fuses are good and i haven’t tested the rear yet.

One day I’m out on a drive and the heat came through both sides and as soon as I vocalized that fact the ABS/DSTC light came on. I have reason to believe the issue is due to a dash cam hard wire install. From all the research I’ve done I’ve read how sensitive the electronics are in these vehicles. This particular dash cam suggests working through the fuse box as there are 15A fuses attached to the yellow batt = 12v constant and red ACC wires.

I’ve since re-wired the dash cam ground and ACC off of the lighter socket power supply as these wires are a lot thicker gauge and the 12v constant off of the factory amp. Just FYI.

There just can’t be this many things wrong right off the bat.
Is there a way to reset the system some how?

If you have a abs warning - there are codes, just your code reader is not capable of reading them. You simply need a compatible scan tool. To reset (abs warning) you have to read and erase the codes.

Check stop lamp - are all three brake lights working? If so are the left and right the same brand? And there is a good ground to the taillamps?

My scan tool isn’t the cheapest nor the most sophisticated but i guess you’re right.

Yes. They all light up but I haven’t checked the bulbs for matching brands or make so i will. I haven’t checked grounds either just because I was sure I may have disrupted the circuitry somehow.

I’ll look into all of this ASAP.

Thank you for your time and energy with this.
