Anyone know how to replace the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail of a T6? Not the sensor, but the regulator. It looks like its pressed in???

 

That engine has only one fuel line going to the fuel rail - meaning it's a non- return fuel system. The fuel pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump. Can you post a picture of what you are trying to do?

 

Looks like I'm trying to waste my time, lol. Even though Volvo describes this as a "pressure regulator, it appears (after further inspection) that it is a test port. Far left of the fuel rail. Having violent stumbling on hard accel, and misfires at start-up. Codes show all cylinders misfiring, and I can feel it. Lasts about 15 seconds at start-up. I'm going to replace the fuel pressure sensor, assuming it may be feeding the ecu with misinformation. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Exactly what codes? And with what kind of scan tool are you usuing? (sp)

Can you test the duty cycle of your fuel pump with your scan tool?

 

Misfire codes for each cylinder as well as general misfire codes. I cannot test duty cycle as far as I know.
