Angry 2015 XC-60: checking oil level electronically?

Do y'all know that on the 2015, 4 cylinder engine the oil level is selected on the dash board and if the oil is hot (driven 20 miles) and has been sitting level for 2 hours, the level will be displayed. Out of five times I've tried I've only had it displayed 1 time.
I want my old fashioned "Dip Stick" back!
Checking the oil level is more than observing the level, it is looking at the color of the oil and smelling for burned oil, very important.
Whatcha y'all think?

Well the level on the dash is not entirely accurate. The only to get an accurate reading would be through VIDA.

Unhappy

Thank you for your reply, Damian. So I need to get a diagnostic tool for the "XC". It must be like the, "Super Chips" I have for my Dodge "Hemi". Why no dipstick?
