2016 XC60 D4 AWD 2.4 R Design vibration / drone
2016 R design 2.4 AWD auto, 28000 miles,, transmission has a pulsing vibration / drone felt through steering wheel, floor and seats, starts at 35 mph and peaks at 45 mph and above 50 mph is smooth. Auto transmission specialist doesn’t think it’s the gearbox and the local Volvo dealer agrees. Volvo want £400 to do initial troubleshooting and then more money to fix. They said first move is to run car without propshaft fitted to isolate problem. Took car to my local independent garage to do this but despite using heat and brute force couldn’t remove it due to corrosion between the bolted flanges ( steel and aluminium).
somebody suggested a Haldex electronic reset may do the trick. Any suggestions welcome as I love this car and don’t want to have to sell it.

Xc60 D4 vibration
Vibration through floor, steering wheel and pedals, starts at 35mph peaks at 45mph and smooth from then on. I am suspicious of the propshaft rear support bearing but as we speak cannot remove the shaft due to corrosion, any ideas on the source of the vibration and how to remove the propshaft would be gratefully recieved. Thanks.
