Default 2020 Volvo XC60 - lost ~9mm of pad at 30k KM (19k Miles). Is this excessive?

Hello there!

I recently got my vehicle serviced and the advisor mentioned that my rear brake pads were at 2mm at 30,000 KM. I was a bit shocked as I don't drive as much in city of stop and go since COVID. So I did some research and found that this was a known issue and there was a service bulletin released (or technical journal I read was what it was called here)

I also checked my 2nd service and noticed my rear pads were already at 6mm, which means I've lost almost half at 20k km, but dealer didn't mention this. It seems in the service bulletin it says that they should have been replaced at that point due to be considered excessive and abnormal to prevent further damage.

My question is has anybody in Toronto or Canada had this replaced. The thing is the service bulletin is for 3 years or 48k KM. I'm at 39 months. Do you think Volvo Canada/Dealer will warranty replace this as it occurred at service 2?

Rear pads at factory - 11MM

Service 2 - 20,000 KM - Pads 6MM (lost 5MM)
Service 3 - 30,000 KM - Pads 2MM (lost 4MM)

Thanks!
