Android App 5.9 still not working ...

 

I find it amazing that Volvo cannot give us information on when they “think” this will be resolved. I am hoping we will not have to ferret this information as opposed to be notified.

 

This is what happens when you partner with Google. They make you play by their rules. And the Google rule is "until it's officially released, it doesn't exist and shall not be spoken of "

 

Just an FYI, my IOS app got a couple of updates and without any other intervention I am now able to remote start my car from my iphone

 

Our dealer says that 5.10 is the latest update, but it's not showing as available yet on the play store, I'm UK and waiting for the android update, where in the world are you?

 

So glad I bought this Google powered car to be left out in the cold on basic features that were promised.

 

I just chatted with Volvo Customer support and she said there will be an update tomorrow 2/28/22 that we can physically update the volvo...

 

Is this the 1.10 update?

No. And personally, I think its BS.

to spend this amount of money and not have the features work. Daily i have to reset the screen by holding the button for 30 seconds. no idea what is going on....i haven an appoint in 3 weeks i set it up 5 weeks....the dealership is behind because of no technicians with covid as the reason. insane

for the car. 1.9 is not available OTA (over the air)....i have to take it into the dealership

tomorrow is update 1.10

 

Don't all jump on me but how do I found out what the latest version of software is installed on the car, it was at the dealer (UK) a couple of weeks ago for a reset and update?

 

No worries. Click on the settings (GEAR) then SYSTEM.......then Software and it will display the Version.

Supposedly with my Customer Service support chat they are supposed to upgrade to 1.10...?

Received the 1.10 download today and got both the notification in the car and the App. I installed a couple of hours ago but have not driven the car yet. I will report back on any issues that might arise once I drive the car. So far, for me, all OTA updates have installed without issue.

 

I cannot install the update...I do not know if it because the 1.9 is NOT installed and has to be installed at the dealership or if I am simply not doing something correctly.
The steps I took were selected update on the xc60 settings.. selected confirm... tried to lock the car via app...that did not work. Called customer service...they said for me to use the key to lock in which I did waited 1 hour 25 minutes went into the car and no update....
