I have the updated android app and the 1.10 AAOS version, but the remote start/climate only works if I go out to the car first and "wake it up" so that it connects to the internet. If it is just sitting there, then it doesn't seem to be connected and the app doesn't do anything.
After updating to version 5.12.0 on my Android phone, the app required me to add a screen lock to my phone before the car would start. I assume that is a security thing in case I lost my phone?

As well as to make you go through an additional step so you're not butt-starting your car. My screen lock is rarely off so I'm always triggering apps accidentally.
Upgrade “Volvo Cars” app - actually had to uninstall and reinstall but all good!!! No hurry for winter again but at least no freezing mornings in my future ;-)
Hiya all, my app was working fine for remote start but now its stopped working, message said that it had been disabled at last service, drive over 20mph to reinstate, its not fixed it. Anyone any ideas why its suddenly decided to not work Screenshot from app when trying to remote start
