2022 XC60 Remote Start Multiple Users
My wife just purchased a new XC60. Nice car. She was unable to get the remote start to work on her iphone. I downloaded the app to my phone and it works quite well. It still does not work on her phone. We both have Version 5.11.0 of the app. Any thoughts? Is the remote start app limited to just one phone.
Thanks.
Thanks.

try unpairing your phone and pair her phone as the primary to the car. You can also read up on Volvo's online manuals/help files

Thank you. The only way I could unpair was to do a factory reset. The app said the phone was not paired and the car said the phone was paired. After two resets, after I deleted my phone, I was able to not only pair my wife’s phone was actually able to start the car remotely - a success.
The car is beautiful but the technology doesn’t appear to be very user friendly. I have a 2021 Subaru which I love and was able to use Subaru’s remote start in about 30 sec. I shudder when I think how much time I spent this week getting my wife’s phone to work.
At the point when I can get all the technology to work, I’m sure I’ll think better of the car.
In reading the posts, there was a poster who loves Volvos but is very critical about people support when a new car is purchased. I certainly agree. I think its unconscionable that Almartin Volvo in South Burlington, VT would let my wife drive her new Volvo off the lot without ensuring that all the features for which she purchased the care were operating.
But thanks again, Super Moderator, you got me through this.
Now to see if I can figure out how to pair a second phone that will start the car . . .
