2022XC60 Defrost with remote?
Hi all,
Picked my car up at the end of winter. XC60 Inscription with all the bells except the really expensive stereo. Anyway I'm able to remote start. However I I haven't found a way to have the defrost come on. In my Cherokee I simply left the physical buttons in place when I shut it off. With this thing, all I have to rely on is the remote comfort setting. Which BTW I can only choose the 15 minute option. Anyway this by no means is enough to defrost/de-ice my windshield.
Any thoughts?

You have to go into the settings in the infotainment center and enable it. This will enable the front and rear defroster when below a certain temp. You can also choose if the heated seats turn on.
Without the experience of a decent amount of ice on the windshield yet, 15min has been plenty for me, I usually do 10. For what it's worth, you can remote start your car twice before having to start it with the key if you need to exercise that option.

You’ll only have a front defroster option if your car came with the heated windshield (works like the rear) otherwise it will use the air vents to defrost. I think it sets to it 72 for default temp on remote start whether it’s cold or hot.
