Default 2024 XC60 Plus 2400 miles on it BRAKES FAILED

New here just looking for some advice. I have a new 5 month old 2024 xc60. Have 2422 miles on it and all of a sudden as I was driving home from work, total system brake failure! I was on a pretty heavily driven highway with plenty of traffic. Out of nowhere the dash warning lights went crazy! “ system failure brakes pull over immediately, ABS failure, parking brake failure. All this as I am heading toward a main intersection with my light turning red. Both feet pushing as hard as I could but not slowing at all. I had to speed up to get thru light avoid 3 cars. As I made it through the light I again attempted to slow it down . Nothing so dropped into L2 then L1 to slow down . Finally stopped by pulling into gas station lot and jamming into park. Very unsettling and scary as hell! I turned car off and waited 10 minutes restarted and every warning you can think of came up! Windshield wiper fluid low, tire pressure low, vehicle must be brought to dealer, etc! Needless to say I called roadside and arranged to have car brought back to dealer. Tow truck guy wanted to move it slightly to get to pull on flat bed, noises coming from front end he thought a caliper loosen or froze, but then it just went away. Car now at dealer for four days and can’t replicate the problem. Can’t find any reason, code or anything defective! I don’t want this car back so opened a claim with Volvo HQ. Haven’t gotten an answer yet. But service department called Volvo and no one seems to have any idea why this happened. Manager at dealer suggested pick it up and if it happens again we can relook at it? If it happens again I could kill somebody or wreck the car. Anyone had any issues like this? I do not want it back so I’ll wait a few more days for a decision. PS this is my 3rd volvo and never had any real problems with the other two!
thanks

Hello.
Would you be able to give an update regarding your car? A similar situation happened to me last week. I was driving on the highway, around 70 mph and I received an alert stating brake failure. Luckily there weren’t any cars around me, so I was able to safely get to the emergency lane to stop my car. My car was towed to the dealership and as of today, they can’t find the source to the problem. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you.
