Is it possible to have this added on after the fact? I wouldn't mind adding to just the driver's side if I could. At the moment, I replaced the standard US driver side mirror with an EU mirror which, as standard equipment, is slightly convex along the outer edge and helps eliminate the blond spot but having the electronic version would be great. Has anyone added it after the fact?

 

It is not available as an add-on, if I remember correctly.

 

Correct. Vehicle has to come from the factory with BLIS installed.

Also,unless you have the new radar based system,the camera based system isnt that great. Rainy,cloudy,dark and dim days,snow conditions,direct sunlight, the system does not work 100 percent.
