Default Can new features be added to older vehicles?

I dropped my 2010 XC60 off at the dealer yesterday for routine maintenance and was given a new 2017 to use for the day. It had a garage remote built into the visor, which mine doesn't have. Can I replace my visor with a 2017 visor? Or are there other components besides the buttons on the visor that I'm not aware of? I would have thought it was a battery operated unit but maybe it's hard wired?

Also, I love the new digital instrument cluster. I wonder if my analog cluster can be replaced??

Homelink can be added.

Not sure about the cluster but I doubt it. It would also be very expensive.
