Warning, I'm new here. I have been considering for sometime to save my '89 740 wagon w/226k for my son that will be driving soon. I've been interested in many V70's for myself, but what some call MINT, I don't. I like the idea of a trip computer, but of course the V70 I want to look at doesn't have one. Can I pull one off a different V70? Is it hard wired? What is involved? Should I either keep looking or keep using my calculator to figure out my performance?

 

You can add a switch and have the Dealer turn the function on in the computer.
