Car shows service engine light
Good Day
I need help my XC60 2009 model was showing the service engine light, and I plugged in the diagnosis machine and it showed the fuel rail pressure sensor as the culprit, so when I was about to change the sensor I found a short plastic linkage that connects the accelerator and the fuel rail sensor disconnected on the big end, the smaller end was connected. I clipped it in again and it was easy to clip it in so I thought to myself that this linkage will pull off in bumpy roads, I then cleared faults and guess what the engine service light went away, so I then went to the dealer and purchased a new linkage and after putting it in I drove the car on a gravel road +- 20km and the service engine light came back on, the new linkage disconnected again.
please help me, I need to drive on a gravel road every day. Any suggestions?
