CEL with P0442 code
Hello,
My 2013 XC60 has less than 800 miles and the CEL came on yesterday with P0442 code. This is actually the third time the code has come on, but only the second recorded documentation of it from the dealership because I tried to fix the second one myself.
The first time, the dealer did a fuel tank pressure test and it passed with no indication of a leak. They went ahead and reset the light.
The second time, I tried myself and I noticed the black liner that surrounds the fuel filler neck was literally twisted and caused the rubber part to bulge around the lip of the fuel filler neck and I thought it was interfering with the seal on the cap. I untwisted it so it'll sit where it's suppose to, reinstalled the cap, and cleared the light.
Just yesterday when I got home from doing an errand, the light came back on. The last time I got fuel was a month ago.
