Ok, on my 2010 XC60 T6 I have a message center in the center of the instrument cluster. Messages such as "25 miles to empty" or "low tire pressure" pop up automatically but otherwise I keep that blank. Lately messages pop up randomly - specifically the miles to empty message. The tank can be full but while driving the message pops up to tell me I have 300 miles to empty.

Has anyone seen this happen? I'm guessing the sensor in the gas tank might be going out.
