Dealer Trying To Install S/W 2.7 Totally KILLED 2022 XC60!
I did a post on my blog. But, title says it all. I have a B5 & OTA was NOT available for this version. Told me to take it to a dealer.
They tried 4 times. On last attempt they killed the car. They couldn't even open TAILGATE.
Yes, they gave me a FANCY loaner -- which, LUCKILY, is BETTER & NEWER than my 2022 XC60.
Read the whole story here. Also has pictures.

DON'T update your s/w!
I hate this XC60.
Thanks. Cheers.

If you are not happy with Volvo - perhaps find a Marque you are happy with. No need to be stressed with what you drive!
(then maybe you can complain about this new Marque you have chosen and post pictures and a blog about that car too.)

not sure how a software update can make something broken beyond repair. The car is likely under warranty and the dealer probably needs a factory assist for something that may not be easily diagnosed. I suspect that there may be a related hardware issue involved or the repair approach is not fully documented yet.
