Lease on my XC60 ends in 4 months. Having not leased a car from Volvo before I would like to confirm my understanding of a few items:
I understand the car needs to be inspected prior to turning it in. Is this done by dealer, or do I have to schedule thru Volvo Financial Services?
How far in advance of actual end-of-lease date can I turn car in? Example - last payment date is one month prior to actual end date in lease agreement. Can I turn it in any time after last payment?

Based on my previous two Volvo leases both in Mass. & Fla., Volvo Financial will send you a letter about two months before the end of your lease telling you to expect a call from their inspection agent. A little while after, you will receive a call from the agent to set up an appt. to inspect your car at a place convenient to you. The whole thing takes about 45 min and is low key. As to your other question, I would expect that one the last pmt. has been made and you've had your inspection, you are free to return the car.

 

Have u looked into buying it....then selling it privately (or to a place like carmax)? Many folks are getting crazy high prices for used cars
